Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Why are you selling AdSpace on the Ikeler4000?
A. Primarily to generate the revenues needed to complete the vehicle and pay for the Round the World Record Setting Flight, but also to create value for our sponsors so they may share in the wealth that the tremendous enthusiasm for this aircraft has brought us.

Q. How long will this website be up on the internet?
A. At least 10 years and it is planned to remain up permanently. The Ads will also remain on the First Ikeler4000 as a permanent addition to aviation history where we will display it at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C.

Q. Why advertise now versus later?
A. The ads will be placed chronologically on the web pages and on the vehicle. Early adopters will get the high visibility of being first on the website and aircraft.

Q. How will I know how much web traffic is coming to my Ad?
A. We will give updates and milestones on the Blog Spot as traffic increases and list notable marks. Daily updates will be given as the response becomes overwhelming.

Q. Is the Ikeler4000 really as cool as it looks in the picture?
A. Actually it's cooler! Steve Waller of the Department of Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, DARPA, told us, among other compliments, that "It looks really cool too!" That was one of the most rewarding days in our lives!
Key elements of the technology are not shown in the pictures for the purpose of protecting our research and development.

Q. Can you tell us more about the Ikeler4000?
A. Yes. Though largely kept secret, for the purpose of patent protection and military development, we can tell you the Ikeler4000 seats 4 people, cruises at about three hundred miles per hour, can carry twelve hundred pounds of payload, and automatically reconfigures from air mode to ground mode. The cost per vehicle will be about four hundred thousand dollars complete and they will become available for purchase in 2025. The larger eight seat version, the Ikeler8000, will follow soon thereafter, as will even larger cargo carrying versions like the I80Jumbo.

Q. When is the Round The World Flight?
A. Late summer of 2022, pending completion and funding and weather conditions around the world. The flight will be a series of hops from country to country, for refueling and weather checks. The distance covered will be more than twenty five thousand miles and promotional opportunities will be taken at major cities like Paris, London, and New York where the vehicle will be driven around to gather international attention.

Q. How can I find additional information about this exciting new aircraft and flight?
A. You can read the blogs as we will update them frequently or you can email us questions at sales@IkelerAeroSpace.com, keeping in mind we will be overwhelmed with inquiries as the flight date approaches and only unclassified information can be released.
